Meanwhile, a drugstore robbery turns into a full-blown hostage crisis at the local high school. Carrie urges Lucas to let go of the past, even as an increasingly suspicious Gordon is hell-bent on uncovering hers. Rebecca sets out on a life apart from her family. A surprise visitor brings back a flood of memories for Carrie. As Rabbit closes in, Carrie flees in a desperate attempt to collect her family and get out of town.
